Humber Safety Boats were tasked by Jackson Civil Engineering to conduct river bank reinforcement work in the Stallingborough drain near to Immingham. The scope of work involved two separate areas which had overhead pipelines, an area not able to be reached by machine. Utilising manual methods four separate banks were reinforced using rock roll bags to great a solid and sturdy bank, with each rock roll bag secured into the the existing bank using a three devices called a Gripple. Both in water and near water our team successfully completed the project securing the areas, and did so in accordance with Health and Safety.
